We are proud to introduce our new associate, Luis Ortiz-Munoz, M.D. Dr. Ortiz completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the VA Caribbean Health System in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He then completed Subspecialty Training in Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging at the Prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, and Echocardiography. He has special interests in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and Clinical Preventive Cardiology. Dr. Ortiz is bilingual in English and Spanish. He is married to a pediatrician and has three young children. He will clearly become a valuable asset to our practice and the Miami medical community. It is therefore with great pleasure and anticipation that we welcome Dr. Ortiz to our practice and our community.

Dr. Ortiz is in clinic daily and offers same-day appointments (Phone# 305-666-4633 ) in his office he is also available for same day hospital consultations.

Dr. Ortiz is amazing. He took the time to review outside EKG’s, lab results, etc., educated me, made me feel at ease, and came up with a plan to help understand what is going on. I highly recommend consulting with Dr. Ortiz.
