Our Mission
It is the mission of the physicians of MyCardiologist to provide the residents of South Florida excellence in cardiovascular care. Our philosophy emphasizes wellness and prevention, and our physicians operate within a full-service cardiology office that treats all aspects of cardiac illness.
Our Story
A South Florida cardiology practice built over generations.
Our practice was started in 1960 by Dr. Bernard Silverstein. In 2007, it moved to its current location in the Medical Arts Building of the South Miami Hospital complex.
Members of our group have served in medical leadership positions in the hospital and the wider community to ensure continued access to excellent medical and cardiac care, and regularly provide lectures on cardiac wellness and prevention.
From the beginning, we have been dedicated to providing excellence in cardiac care to all patients, striving to make state-of-the-art technology accessible. Our doctors and staff pride themselves on delivering respectful, individualized care to each person who walks through the door.
As our group nears its 65th year, we continue to seek superb physicians to grow our practice — carrying forward the tradition of superior and personalized patient care.

In addition to regular and annual check-ups, patients come to us for routine monitoring, sophisticated diagnostic testing, and pre- and post-operative care. Many of our specialized tests are performed right in our offices to determine whether a patient has cardiovascular disease and how it is affecting them. We also welcome patients referred by other physicians for evaluation.
