Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Vascular and Endovascular Medicine.

Dr. Majano is a native of El Salvador. Attended medical school at Universidad Autonoma de Centro America in San Jose, Costa Rica. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Miami and served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine for one year following Residency. He completed his fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Texas – Houston and a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He has established himself as a leader in Interventional Cardiology at South Miami, having served as the South Miami Heart Center Cardiovascular Service Line Chief. He currently is the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute/South Miami Hospital. He has authored several medical publications and has been awarded several U.S. patents in Medical Devices. He is currently the President of the Medical Staff at South Miami Hospital/Baptist Health South Florida.

Very professional and explains everything very well so that you can understand what's going on. The office staff is great and the appointments run on time. I have never had to sit more than 10 minutes in the week because they run a tight ship.

Recently My Mother was a patient of Dr. Majano at South Miami Hospital CCU Unit. Dr. Majano made sure that we were always aware of her critical health situation and the options available always putting emphasis on her being comfortable and not suffering. Through my Mother's health issues I've dealt with many Doctors who are or maybe good at what they do but do not show any compassion for the suffering of their patients for they are just a number to them. Thank God Almighty that Dr. Majano is not one of these type of Doctors!!! A great Humanitarian who really care about his patients!!!
