My journey in healthcare began as an Emergency Room nurse in 2005, becoming trauma and emergency certified. Inspired by a deep love for patient care, I later transitioned into education, helping onboard new nurses and even becoming a BLS instructor. Wanting to expand my impact, I pursued my calling as a Nurse Practitioner in 2012. I received my Master’s degree in Science of Nursing from Florida International University and am board certified in Adult health by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. I’ve proudly practiced as a Nurse Practitioner for over 12 years.

My dedication extends beyond clinical practice — I’ve participated in important research initiatives through Baptist Health Systems, and even assisted in the implementation of a crucial FDA investigational drug during the COVID-19 pandemic.

My experience as both an Emergency Nurse and Internal Medicine / Primary care nurse practitioner over the last 20 years has allowed me to manage a wide range of cardiac conditions such as, but not limited to, cardiac arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, heart and/or lung transplant, cardiac tamponade, NSTEMI/STEMI, post open heart surgery medical management, hypertension, valvular heart disease, severe sepsis, and cardiac arrest. In my long career I have helped both diagnose and treat many of these medical conditions alongside a team of medical doctors, surgeons and cardiologists, to help maximize our patients’ health for the best possible outcome.

When I’m not caring for patients, you’ll find me spending time with family, enjoying a good fiction novel, or staying active through running. I have countless stories of patient success, which fuels my passion for providing exceptional care. I believe in a personalized approach and will always strive to do my best for my patients.
