Martine is a foreign medical graduate and board-certified Physician Assistant. She earned her Associate in Science in Physician Assistant from Miami Dade College and a master’s degree in health science from Nova Southeastern University, plus an Obesity Medicine in Primary Care Certification from AAPA/TOS. She has practiced as a PA in Florida for 12 years, with experience spanning Cardiology, Primary care, and Hospital Medicine.
Martine maintains professional memberships in the American Academy of Physician Assistants (serving as a peer reviewer for JAAPA), American College of Cardiology, American Academy of Physician Associates in Cardiology, American College of Physicians, Society of Hospital Medicine, and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
She prioritizes preventive medicine and nutrition in her clinical approach. Her practice focuses on encouraging patients with chronic cardiovascular disease to adopt healthy lifestyles and achieve their wellness goals through education and support.
Since joining MyCardiologist in Spring 2022, she has performed hospital rounds and outpatient cardiology work. She is fluent in English, French, Creole, and Spanish.
