Placido L. Hernandez is an experienced Advanced Practitioner Registered Nurse (APRN) with the MyCardiologist group, working primarily weekends and conducting hospital rounds with physicians throughout the city. He manages patient and hospital calls during weekends with a typical response time of approximately 15 minutes.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Florida International University and a Master’s Degree in the Science of Nursing from the same institution. He holds certification as a Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and maintains licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
Mr. Hernandez brings more than a decade of nurse practitioner experience and over 35 years in the medical field. His clinical background encompasses training in anesthesia, emergency medicine, intensive care, and cardiology.
He is bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish.
